| 内容記述 | The geologic structure of the Cretaceous Izumi Group in west Kinki, Southwest Japan was investigated in order to clarify the movement picture of the Median Tectonic Line (MTL) during post-Cretaceous~pre-Middle Eocene time (ca. 65~50 Ma). It is concluded that the Paleogene movement along the MTL in west Kinki has more predominant left-lateral strike-slip component than the dip-slip one on the basis of the analysis of strain picture (left-hand en echelon upright folds, right-hand en echelon faults of Riedel-shear type, mode of boudinage structure, and wide shear zone).... | |||||||||||
