| 内容記述 | Background : In general, anorexia nervosa (AN) begins during adolescence or young adulthood, but often develops in later aged females. However, there is a lack of robust evidence regarding psychopathological features of late-onset AN, especially in acute samples. Our aim was to clarify the psychopathological features of late-onset (≧25-years-old) AN with a short illness duration by comparison with typicalonset AN (15-19-years-old). / Methods : We identified 790 female AN patients referred to the facility within five years from onset, consisting of 414 AN restricting type (AN-R) and 376 AN binge-eating/purging type (AN-BP) patients. The clinical variables and the psychopathological differences using the Eating Disorder Inventory (EDI) were compared between AN subtypes. After each subtype group was divided into 46 late-onset and 194 typical-onset AN-R patients, and 58 late-onset and 192 typical-onset AN-BP patients, they were compared according to the above features.... | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
