| 内容記述 | 1 序論 : グローバルな企業間競争や産業構造の変化に伴い、先発工業国では、長期的かつ深刻な経済衰退(所得減少、失業、地方財政の悪化など)に直面する地域が現れている。そのような地域では、就労機会や教育・福祉サービスを十分に得られない人々が増加し、経済的・社会的格差の拡大が懸念されている。これらの問題は、企業による営利事業への支援や、政府による所得再分配および公共サービスの提供のみでは解決できていない。こうしたなか、期待が寄せられているのが、社会的問題の解決にイノベーションをもたらす企業家活動である。社会的企業家活動の活性化は、持続可能な社会づくりにおいて、極めて重要な位置を占めるようになっている(OECD編著, 2010 ; シュワルツ, 2013)。社会的企業家活動が活発な国の一つがフランスである。同国では、社会における権力の集中と不平等の拡大を解消しようとする社会運動「社会連帯経済」(ESS: l'économie sociale et solidaire)が勢力を増しつつある(ラヴィル, 2012, 3-5頁 ; 北島, 2016)。しかも、ESSの理念に基づき経済活動を行う企業(以下、「社会連帯(ESS)企業」)が、福祉のような従来の主要領域のみならず、営利企業と競合する分野でも事業を展開している。フランスのこうした動きは、企業による様々な社会的事業の実践を可能にした事例として注目に値する。…… | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | Through case analyses from France (Hauts de France), this research clarifies the business activities, organizational forms, and governance of enterprises engaged in the social and solidarity economy (social and solidarity enterprises). These aspects of the social and solidarity economy ―especially in non-socialwelfare sectors― have rarely been examined in previous case studies. The results revealed that France has unique institutional frameworks for social and solidarity enter-prises that promote the practice of the social and solidarity economy in non-social-welfare sectors by allowing them to act efficiently even in fields in which they compete with for-profit enterprises. It was also clarified that social and solidarity enterprises in Hauts de France have chosen organizational forms that enable them to conduct governance that is appropriate for the specific purpose and activity of their business. | |||||||||||
