A new residential area of city was constructed as a new concept of modern city in late 1930s, where residents in Mukuden(Shenyang) could enjoy highly cultivated life. In case of Harbin, the city was one of the most multi-racial cities in the world and also the rail way zone of Russia. The population of Russian and non-Chinese was much higher than Chinese in 1910s. Among them, there was many Jewish people. All of them were equally enjoyed their lives without any prejudice.
